resolved

I'll entertain more this year--specifically two parties this summer.
I'll mail Hope's birdseed.
I'll keep the birdfeeders filled this winter.
I'll plant more blue spruce trees.
I'll finish my manuscript.
I'll get the family photo album updated (which will take only 3-5 months).

I won't lose weight (on purpose).
I won't stop eating chocolate or drinking coffee.
I won't become more organized.
I won't go to Europe (unless someone has a HUGE surprise planned for me).
I won't figure out what I'm doing next in my life (see previous parenthetical note).

Spill it reader, what will you do? Or not do?

  1. I will illustrate my children's book, written years ago and recorded on CD. I've been nagged to publish but the paintings have to be done. I have until July to get everything together. I will also stop being obsessed with strawberries and cream.

  2. I will submit my novel and short stories (hard to get published if you don't)
    I WILL give up soda.
I will NOT give up chocolate!

  3. I will simplify everything in my personal and business life. I will read more and play on the computer less. I will pay down a ton of debt. I will put ME first.

I will not live in the past and I will now fret over the future. I will live for today and only today....this very moment.

  4. I will play more.
    I will start running again.
I will not stress about loosing the "baby" weight.
I will not sweat the small stuff.

    Happy New Year!!!!

  6. I will get back to wearing out my walking shoes. I will keep praying for ministries in Pleasant Suburb, Poland, Honduras, and Costa Rica. I will continue to grieve for what has been lost, but also to find joy and contentment in what is--- acknowledging that there is time for both without diminishing either.

I will not forget that people are more important than the most pressing project.

  7. Love your list. Very achievable! ;)

I won't do many of the same things you won't do.

I will listen harder, play longer, and love more.

  8. I forgot about resolutions! Gah! Now I'll have to think of some. Big one...I hope a publisher will go crazy for my book. ;)

Oh, and I won't be giving up chocolate or soda either.

  9. My semi-grown kiddos need me a little bit longer, so dealing with graduations and futures is a main plan for 2010. Professionally, I'm looking at changes, but those will only happen when the opportunity knocks. I'm standing at the door, though, packed and ready.

  11. I will make my bed every day.

I know, very juvenile and silly, but I have to start small. :) Perhaps more to follow.

  13. I will take my family to another country--for how long, I'm not yet sure.

I'll not stop hating certain parts of my body, which is a terribly sad thing to type.

I'll continue to regard sleep as one of life's greatest gifts.
