hello spring!


See that? There in the tree? That, friends, is the first robin of spring!

  1. oh, this reminds me of my grandma, who died 5 years ago in early April. She would always talk about seeing the first Robin of spring as being good luck. Thanks for that memory.

  7. An officemate and I thought we were in the middle of a "The Birds" remake a couple of weeks ago - a huge flock of robins were flitting about in a tree outside our window. When have you ever seen a flock of robins?

  8. We had two in our backyard this am ~ I was so excited I could hardly drink my coffee! Then my day got even better with the 'organic' car wash! Whoo hooo!

  12. Thee times in the past week, the 4 year old has asked "Is it spring yet?" So glad it's almost here. Our snow has almost entirely melted. No we just need to get rid of the sogginess!
