voila!

I promised the Big Reveal a week ago, but the workers cleared out and the dust finally settled last night....


Before we undertook the Super Secret Home Improvement Project.

Aaaaaand after. What a difference!

There wasn't a proper step up to the house which meant I spilled a lot of potato salad on that patio when we dined al fresco.

But now! Look at that!

And the pièce de résistance (drumroll, please)

Guess what we're having for dinner this Friday?

  5. wow - I LOVE it! We are getting estimate for a new walkway and patio right now. But cha-ching...now we're thinking maybe just a patio would suffice for now.
