glad I live in Mr. Rodgers' neighborhood

*The Packers are headed to the BIG DANCE!
* It will be a frenzy of excitement for the next 2 weeks.
* Mr. D is getting team jerseys for everyone.
* I don't want to have my annual widows and orphans party for the Super Bowl. I'd really rather watch the game.
* In other news, we've made Mr. T's appointment for his 24-hour EEG. Feb. 7th is the big day, so keep praying, warriors! We're grateful for your encouragement while he continues to wean off his meds.
* I'm a good mummy. I'm taking the boys here tomorrow. They have the day off school and I resolved to add more cultural experiences to their lives.
* I should tell you about my other resolutions.
* But for now I'm going to relish the awesomeness of our home team beating the Bears.

  2. Wish I were a football fan. Have tried many times over to sit and enjoy a game but I always lose interest. I know... I'm in the minority but I do hope the rest of you enjoy your Superbowl parties!

  7. Oooh... mummies! Very cool way to spend a day off.

The 7th... not too much longer to wait, and now you have the distraction of the Packers in the Super Bowl to pass the time. Will keep praying!

  8. I keep randomly shouting, "The Packers are going to the Superbowl!" This will really make winter seem like it's going fast. Dick's Sporting Goods was open at 6:00 a.m. today selling the Packer gear. Got a hat and t-shirt, we're all set to go. We're keeping the prayers going here. Take care!

  9. Frown on forehead, scratches on head: "What does Mr. Rogers have to do with this?"

    Oh, THAT Mr. Rogers. Duh...

Monday morning is all I can say.

  10. Poor Chuck - his workload just increased exponentially. He's not sure if he'll have to go to Dallas or not.
Whatever will we eat for our eating the opponent project? I need to do a little research on native Pittsburgh foods. Andy Warhol was a Pittsburgh native son; we could eat Campbell's Soup.
    Go! Pack! Go!

  11. There's nothing like your home team winning, right? Yay you!

You are a good mummy! That exhibit should be awesome. Can't wait to read about it.

And as for the prayers, I'm on it.

  14. I looked at that mummy site, and while my 8-year-old Bag of Fear would never go near such stuff, I have to say you're awesome...despite this strange fascination you have with that weird men-crashing-about sport.

  19. Yeah... I am not a football fan at all. The only reason I like the Superbowl is the commercials.
