grand

I woke up this morning to the sound of birds singing outside our open window.
In March.
Mr. D's ballplayers are practicing outside on a dry field.
In March.
I've got half of my spring cleaning list knocked off.
In March.
Forsythia is in full bloom along with the crocuses.
In March.
I'm wearing shorts, going barefoot and making lemonade.
In March.

Spill it, reader. What are you doing this March?

  2. I've spent two days cleaning my den, rearranging books on the shelves and digging through the cupboards. I may have a slight problem with the hoarding of magazines.

  3. Going to the Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament on Friday. Not sure who we'll be following, but my choice is Phil Mikelson or KJ Choi.
Going to the pool, but not getting in the water yet. Too cold.
Going to the beach, but not getting in the water yet. Too cold.
Going to a book festival at the University.

  4. Spring cleaning? What's that? I'm wearing a sweater because it's cold here...it was cold enough to snow on the mountains during the weekend storm! Crazy Cali weather.

  6. Oh, how I miss forsythia. It's so not a SoCal bloom.

Your springy vibe sounds fresh and invigorating.

    This March, I am waiting.

  8. In March I estimate crop acreage for the crops planted in the spring. They will likely be planted plenty early this year.

  12. I pulled my capris out of storage, packed away my thick sweaters. I still have enough hoodies and middleweight sweaters to survive a snowstorm.

Oh, yes - I walked to work four out of five days last week. Too fun!

  16. Love this post. While everyone on Facebook was raving about the beautiful weather, NW MT got hit with snow. It's melting now, so maybe we'll see some spring by summertime. ;)
