countdown

In 15 minutes Team Testosterone will be home from a short day of school--with 3 pals in tow.  This place is about to get a lot louder.

And a blizzard is coming early tomorrow morning--about 15 hours from now.

And in exactly 24 hours I will drive away in the snowstorm to meet up with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway.  I have big plans to slum it with a wineglass, bathrobe and hours of laughter.

Getting more excited by the minute.

  1. Didn't you have to drive in bad weather for a girls weekend last year, too?

They are only projecting 3-5 inches of snow for Green Bay, but I'm going to treat it like a proper blizzard, complete with dvds, hot cocoa, and snuggling on the couch with my girls.

  2. They're calling for about 5 inches here, and since it's coming between 9 p.m. and morning, I'm probably going to declare it a snow day tomorrow :-) That way I can sleep in.

  3. good luck, stay safe, have fun.
we are going to miss the storm this time. Yeah! the 36" of snow we got over the past couple weeks is all we need.
have fun with the boys. I take it they are not staying over night. My daughter posted the other day how loud it was in her house with 6 11yr old boys running around.
