Found

A service board is some internal part, like a carberator, however I don't believe it performs the same function, so my analogy ends there.  Mr. D works in the computer business, which is how I know so much (and have great tech support).  Meanwhile, while I wait for my new laptop I read The Girls of Atomic City which I recommend heartily.
I also took a long walk around the fields yesterday and discovered:
a missing glove
Jax's collar and dog tags (which disappeared months ago)
one of the Easter eggs the neighbors hid for their grandchildren to find.  Still had candy in it, too.
In closing, I am convinced that laptops rule and iPads drool.

  1. I prefer my laptop over my iPad too. The iPad is nice when I go to bed. If Hubby is already sleeping there is no clicking of a keyboard on the iPad to irritate him. LOL That's about the only reason I use the iPad.

  4. That's great to find the dog collar and tags - now the dog is legal again, eh? If that glove you found is red and black, it might be mine. I'm missing one - maybe mine wandered from Pennsylvania to a field in Wisconsin.

  5. I don't know....I can't seem to live without either my laptop OR my mini iPad! :) I've been using my iPad so much that my wrist and index finger hurt! :)

Listen, if you're so good at finding things, can you come over here to my house? I keep losing things......like those darn pictures in FRAMES that I put away at Christmas and now can't find......a pair of fingernail clippers that I set on the bed for a second and are GONE!!! I shook out the covers, sheets, etc...and they did NOT fall out! I've even washed the sheets and no clippers. I swear I have a poltergeist living in this place with me! It CAN'T be that I am FORGETFUL. Oh NO!!! NOT THAT!!

  6. I'm old school and prefer my desktop. Then again, I still have a land line....

  7. I am not nearly as enamored of my ipad as i expected (and hoped) to be. I find the touch screen Way Too Sensitive; the interface non-intuitive to me and no really good way to hold it without interfering with that touch screen. Drool describes them perfectly.

  8. Logan is a computer science major and wonderful tech support, when I can get it from him. His dad does pretty good in a pinch. In the current computer environment there is something 'rich' about living with personal tech support:)

  10. We find stuff in our yard every spring. It's amazing what the boys leave out there and gets covered up by snow. Just found an Easter egg from LAST Easter not too long ago. o_O

  11. Please tell me you ate the candy. After the last few days you've had, I think you deserve it.

As for weird yard finds? We found Foxie Doxie's collar that had been missing for a year and a half. He's one smooth criminal.
