bon voyage

I know I still owe you faithful readers posts about meeting Cha Cha and my blog content getting scraped and good golly there's a greenhouse finally constructed in my yard!  I'll get to these things, I really will.  Plus there will be a series of giveaways coming via Green Girl in Wisconsin throughout July.  But first there are adventures to be had. I'll see you in a week.  Meanwhile, you can guess where I'm headed.

Three clues:
1.  I've been referring to the destination as "The Birthplace of American Literature" and "Mecca for Book Geeks."
2.  I'm bringing a swimsuit.
3.  Team Testosterone is not jealous of me at all.  They're happy to stay home with their baseball and summer school.

My flight takes off first thing tomorrow morning--À plus tard!

  1. Hmm. Does this have something to do with William Faulkner and a motel pool? Or perhaps Hemingway and his Keys? Wherever you're headed, have a wonderful time!

  4. My first thought was Boston or its environs. Concord, Mass? Not exactly beachy. Hmmm.

Although I can't imagine why the boys wouldn't want to go. Hmm...

  10. How could your boys not be interested in LITTLE WOMEN (etc.)???

What an exciting trip. I really respect and admire the way you keep yourself energized about writing as an art and your writing in particular.
